| Appraisals
The James Cox Gallery is a
qualified appraiser
of record for a single piece of artwork or an entire collection.
Mr. Cox began his appraisal
career as director of New York’s Grand Central Art Galleries.
There he was called upon to document the value of art
for the galleries’ clients, the American Art Dealers Association,
various museums, the Internal Revenue Service, corporations,
banks and other dealers and appraisers.
Knowledge of
his expertise
has grown over the last twenty-five years, and, as owner of the James
Cox
Gallery at Woodstock, he is frequently called upon to appraise artwork
for private individuals, attorneys and estates, city and state
governments
and public institutions.
