Leonardo da Vinci's Horse

Additional bronze castings of Leonardo da Vinci's Horse are now available. Each casting is individually hand-finished and patinated by the same team of craftsmen who worked on the full-size, 24 foot Horse at the Tallix Art Foundry. Net proceeds from the sale of these editions will support the Milan project and related educational programming. To inquire about purchasing, call James Cox at (914) 679-7608. The smallest (5- inch) bronzes will be registered (stamped, assigned a number and produced in unlimited edition). The other sizes will be produced in limited editions as indicated below. Prices do not include shipping and handling or New York State sales tax, where applicable.

available from Tallix Marketing LLC.

Final touch-up by a Tallix foundry
artisan. This ten-inch wax will be
used to cast a bronze horse using
the ancient "lost wax" technique.

Two raw bronze pieces are joined
at a craftsman's workbench at
Tallix to form a 15-inch horse.
The sculpture will then be ground
and polished in preparation for
the final patina.
